Terms
The plain version.
Retrase is built by Spergs, LLC and provided as self-hosted software. By using it you agree to these terms. Last updated: 2026-07-22.
Who you're agreeing with
"Retrase", "we", and "us" mean Spergs, LLC, a Florida limited liability company. "The software" means the Retrase control plane, media relay, web dashboard, and mobile app that you download and run yourself.
By running the software you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you don't, please don't use it.
It's yours to run
Retrase is self-hosted. You install it on your own hardware, point it at your own cameras, and operate it yourself. We don't run a server for you, hold your footage, or have access to your deployment.
You're responsible for your own instance: keeping it updated, securing the bearer token, and controlling who can reach the control plane and relay.
You're responsible for what you record
Cameras and recordings are governed by real laws — consent, notice, and two-party-recording rules vary by place. You are solely responsible for operating your cameras lawfully: where they point, who they capture, and how you retain the footage. Don't use Retrase to record people who have a reasonable expectation of privacy without the consent the law requires.
Third-party cameras and services
When you connect a Google Nest camera, your use of the Smart Device Management API is subject to Google's terms and requires your own credentials. RTSP and other cameras are subject to their manufacturers' terms. Retrase relays the streams you're already entitled to; it doesn't grant you access to anything.
No warranty, no SLA
Retrase is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. It's pre-1.0 software: things will break, features will change, and it is not a substitute for a monitored security system. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spergs, LLC is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the software — including missed events, lost recordings, or downtime. You run it at your own risk.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the software evolves; material changes will be reflected here with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Questions? Reach us at hello@spergs.com.
